I live in I live in Cincinnati and teach theology and spirituality at Xavier University. My wife Lauri is an amazing pediatrician with a passion for the under-served. Our four kids keep us hopping and me rooted firmly to the earth. Our favorite spot for picnics is Spring Grove Cemetery, a botanical and historical treasure near our neighborhood, where the resurrection feels palpably real to me. My secret dream? To play third base and bat lead-off for the Cincinnati Reds, or play keyboards for one night in Sarah McLaughlin's band. Until then I'm content to blog.
